Harry-Potter-meets-any-fandom poll

I know I'm not the only HP fan who sometimes does the "Let's pick random characters from anything and figure out what Hogwarts House they'd be in" game. In this poll I tried to pick ones that aren't really obvious or that I think there'd at least be a lot of disagreement about. 'Cause you know, we all know Luke Skywalker is Gryffindor...

And for once I wasn't so mean about never using check boxes so you don't always have to pick just one. :)

Alas I didn't know many of them, and some -- like Bella -- I wanted to be able to Squib, but YES sorting other characters is awesomely fun. I have had long discussions with people about where the cast of Doctor Who would fit.

Yeah, I've always thought Bella is really hard to Sort, and it probably proves that SM really did write her as the perfect self-insert blank slate of a character. LOL.

It's because everything about her is defined by Edward. Uh, she reads Bronte sometimes, does that make her a Ravenclaw?

Also, would you be terribly offended if I did a redux of this poll with different characters at my lj?

I think Meyer would have us believe Bella is a Ravenclaw, because at whatever high school she went to, reading for leisure meant that you're an outsider and so effing smart vampire boys will notice you. Whereas many of Bella's other actions indicate a pretty normal level of intelligence, IMO :/

Gah ... sorting is hard. Only did the ones I knew, and did two for each. After HP ended, I started thinking how very unfair the house system was for pigeon-holing people like that, but I suppose that could be a huge debate/discussion. And yeah, I couldn't sort Bella. She shows aspects of every house to me. =P Also, I couldn't remember who James Norrington was. Haha. I'll look it up later.
