1. I was a Ninja Turtle my first Halloween.
2. I remember conversations I have with people really well, and sometimes I'll actually pretend not to remember something about somebody that they might have mentioned to me once a year ago just so I won't seem creepy.
3. Diet Coke is my own personal brand of heroin. LOL,

mistress_mab wrote this exact thing and I had to repeat it because it's absolutely true for me, too. My roommate and her boyfriend are always laughing at the graveyard of empty DC bottles my desk usually is.
4. I've never had a single nightmare.
5. I had a shitty morning today. Getting a nosebleed during a class in a building with a bathroom that's impossible to find is not fun. Having to run outside with no coat to the next building with a bathroom whilst bleeding all over your sweater is embarrassing. Automatically-flushing toilets that will never actually flush when you need them to are obnoxious.
6. At my family's old house we used to get Christmas cards from John Lithgow addressed to the people who lived there before us.
7. It annoys me when people fast-forward through the opening credits of movies.
8. I'm pretty sure I want to adopt a kid someday. When you think about it, not having kids of your own is probably the best thing you can do for the environment. Recycle instead of making another new car-driving, trash-producing human. LOL.
9. I've recently become a decided cat person for life. Which might have something to do with how my dog just ripped my Sin City Hartigan poster off of my door and ate it as well as a really rare Empire Strikes Back one. At least Jack Sparrow was spared.
10. I'm a Deist. I fear a future in which religious people are the intolerated and misunderstood ones rather than everyone who doesn't accept certain beliefs. I can't stand people being so closed-minded, judgmental, or just touchy about religion any more than I can stand religious people's intolerance and judgement. The hypocrisy is astounding. "Euw grooooss there's religious imagery in Harry Potter, OMG don't touch it there's cooties, eeeevil." STFU.
11. I never, ever wear shorts. I feel unexplainably stupid in them. Pants or an occasional skirt all year round.
12. Lately I'm kind of obsessed with Pacifica products. I've started wearing the Hawaiian Ruby Guava perfume and this scent is my cantante.
13. I actually think I'm reasonably attractive. I would like to think that maybe the average level of self-esteem in young women actually isn't that low and we just live in a culture in which people feel like they shouldn't say that out loud. I would rather stay as I am and able to recognize I look just fine than be on the gorgeous level with a too messed-up perception of myself to see it.
14. Sometimes I like eating Eggo waffles still frozen. What the hell is wrong with me?
15. One of the biggest hot-button topics for me is celebrities' weight when it (usually inevitably) turns into people saying cruel things about how women like Kristen Stewart or Mischa Barton look. Double standard much? Sexist much? Nobody ever talks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Mick Jagger are obviously unhealthy because they're stick figures. It's fine if women who are more on the scrawny side just don't do it for you, but there's nothing wrong with them. I feel quite fine myself with my child-bearing-challenged size hips, tyvm.
16. For some reason when picking names for my characters in things I tend to have a particular love for lots of names beginning with 'L.' I have to limit how many L names I have in one story to make sure it doesn't turn into a Superman universe.
