I don't have that much to comment on aside from being ecstatically happy with pretty much EVERYTHING in this episode, but a few things.
- I never thought I'd ever love Saul Tigh as much as I do now. I was hoping we'd finally see a lot more Tyrol and he's the one I would have expected to turn himself in first, but...that was awesome.
- Olmos is like...a god. And I think the part with Lee trying to comfort Bill after he's found out Tigh's a Cylon is one of the most amazing and moving scenes in the entire series so far.
- BEAR McCREARY, PLEASE MARRY ME. I did think a while back that it would be so awesome if Bear put an extra kick into the music for the last season by writing some choral parts. I mean, nothing says "epic" like a choir roaring over an action scene in some language you don't understand. LOL. Then Revelations, and he really did use a fucking choir. Colossal amounts of love here. I am such a dork.
- I love how Kara and Lee's relationship has changed unbelievably much and also hasn't changed at all. No matter what happens they can always go back to being the good friends they were in the beginning to S1. And of course I'm still crossing my fingers for a shippy ending for them but for now I'm really satisfied just to have this confirmed.
- Adama/Roslin are so very married now. I'm starting to fall in love with the idea of them maybe actually making it official before she dies.
- Sam is outed. In the end, it doesn't really seem to change much between him and Kara. Does it make any difference, really? I'm pretty glad to see all of the final four have just been accepted. I still have to wonder if that's what the hybrid was referring to when she kept saying, "They will not harm their own" instead of the Raiders refusing to turn on one of the Five.
- They reach the promised land and it's not at all what they've been hoping for all this time. I never saw that coming at all. I don't care if this leaves me with no clue about what they're going to do with the second half of the season because that's such a great way to end it before the break. And anyway, I'm hoping this means there's a whole lot of stuff coming that we can't even anticipate since it would seem there's not much of a show left to do now that they've seen earth.
- Laura was not supposed to make it this far. The dying leader has to be someone who's already died and will never see Earth. Natalie, I guess.
- Does anyone else think we could be in danger of getting another "one year later"? Or even "three years later"? It would mean seeing all the kids a lot older, which could be necessary somehow.
....Okay, that was more than just a few things. :)

Date: 2008-06-15 03:33 pm (UTC)I'm not one to believe they will end up at Earth in our time either. I've read a lot of comments from pist off people basically because they don't get to meet the Galactica crew or something.
They are going to have to deal with the rest of the Cylons before the end as well.

LOL. I've always been pretty amused by that possibility, but I think it would have been a little too cheesy even for RDM to pull off.
