Fanfic Rec: "Heads Or Tails" (Twilight)

So many fans rave about deadduck008's writing and she has been on my never-ending list of authors to read more fic by for a while. And I would now be the first to say it's some kind of crime I've never recommended anything by her before. Her fics are usually quite short and succinct but they always feel like they're much longer than they really are. They are subtle and understated but mindblowing and devastating all at the same time. She can write any character in a way that makes them very sympathetic, endearing, and interesting to read about (I mean come on, she's making me have to rec something Edward/Bella - what is that fuckery?). This is probably best demonstrated in her fic about Mike Newton, a character I've always loved for his ridiculousness and hilarity but never felt so sorry for before.

...Basically, just go read everything by her. I don't find myself wanting to say that about an author I rec that much.
