Fanfic Rec: "A Story That's Already Been Written" (Twilight)

This so simple but so memorable little fic scattered with strong hints of Carlisle/Bella is proof that I can take to fanfiction with any ship if it is written beautifully enough. It has flashbacks showing just short glances of Carlisle's first memories of knowing Esme which for some reason totally hurt my heart. It will definitely help to be familiar with the whole backstory of Carlisle/Esme to understand some parts of it.
