He was a promising and talented actor and seemed like such a genuine, kind person.

The year of Brokeback Mountain has so many good memories for me because of the involvement I had in the fandom for many months. I didn't know how much fun you could have in fandom before I was part of that group of fans. It's possible that if it weren't for Heath being one of the things that made that film so special, I wouldn't know some of the people I've become friends with because of it. He was such a big part of the recent years of my life in a way and it's hard to believe he's gone now.

I'm so sorry for his family and those close to him. He will be missed.

I hear you. I was at the gym when my sister called and I didn't believe her until it suddenly appeared in the tv screens they had.

I didn't even find out until my mum told me when I came home. I was completely shocked. It is just so sad. ONTD has two entries about him with thousands of comments with people who are just shocked and sad. He was a good actor, and I always liked him.
