This mix works as sort of a companion to my jazz mix "Blue Shades" and has the same general concept; it features a lot of different kinds of blues and blues-influenced music and shows how the genre has changed over time but continued to be very much alive until today. Oh man, you have some fantastic taste in music! My father is responsible for my love of blues as well - The Blues Brothers was regular viewing in our house, and his Hendrix and Janis Joplin albums got worn out - so I was cheering at every title and song you have listed.

I have all the tracks except for two, and I was wondering if you would mind uploading them individually for me? I lack Cream's cover of "Spoonful" (omigod, the original is amazing, I can't wait to hear Clapton's take, considering what he did to "Crossroads"), and PJ Harvey covering "Wang Dang Doodle" (ooh, her cover of "Highway 61 Revisited" is amazing, I think she'd be awesome at some Howlin' Wolf).

LOVE this mix - there needs to be more blues mixes on the internet.
