"Blue Shades" - a jazz compilation

Since the writing muse seems to have left me for a while, I'm going to be finishing and posting a lot of fanmixes and other music compilations that have been works-in-progress for a long time.

This one is a crazily varied mix of stuff from as long ago as the 20s to much more recent music that is heavily jazz-influenced if not traditional jazz: there's cool jazz, big band jazz, lounge, remixes, orchestral and concert band music, classic tunes by legendary standard singers as well as some songs by artists you may not expect to see on a jazz mix. Basically, if there's any hope at all of you getting into any kind of jazz, there's got to be something on this mix for you.

I'm afraid I'm having some trouble d/ling them. The RAR files show up on my hard drive, but they won't unzip. What should I do?

The only reason I can think that they wouldn't work for you is if you can't play m4a's. I wish I'd remembered to say something in the post about what format the files are in so nobody would take the time to download them and find they wouldn't work. Oops! :(
