Fan art recommendations (Harry Potter)
Jul. 31st, 2005 01:40 amHere comes a big batch of fan arts recs, all done by Makani and found on her website, Accio Brain. I just spent like an hour looking at her drawings because they are all so awesome. The ones I'm linking to right here are just a handful of my favorites and you really should go to the site and look at more of them. The "Sillies/Musings/Not-So-Canon" section is to die for and made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt.
Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange
Hot. I just love these two for some reason. They're so badass.
Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, & Prongs (as animals)
I like this one because I hate when people draw werewolf Remus as a cheesy standing-up werewolf with some remains of ripped clothes on. I just think of JKR's werewolves as being really huge and scary wolves.
PoA animals
So friggin' cute!
Young Snape
Now this is just badass. I love his bitter, angry expression.
Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle
This is hilarious. You can just tell Draco's thinking, I'm surrounded by idiots.
Lucius and Narcissa dancing.
An absolutely gorgeous piece. The colors just pop out.
Random sketches of Narcissa
This cracks me up.
Lily and James
You could really see this picture as being of when they were together or when she still kind of hated him. Either way the image portrays their relationship perfectly.
Thestral
WOAH. Scary.
Narcissa in a blue dress
Another stunning colored picture.
Tonks and Moody
I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be an illustration from this part of OotP:
"'Better wizards than you have lost buttocks, you know!'
'Who d'you know who's lost a buttock?' the violet-haired woman asked Mad-Eye interestedly.
'Never you mind. . .Elementary wand safety, nobody bothers about it anymore. . .' He stumped off toward the kitchen. 'And I saw that,' he added irritably, as the woman rolled her eyes at the ceiling.'"
Hermione's Boggart
This one is a riot. I especially love how Lupin looks so nervous about her freaking out.
Death Eaters + technology = no
Lucius, Bella, and Dolph struggling with Muggle technology. Painfully funny. If you get the Zoolander reference in this you're my new best friend.
Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange expressing brotherly love
LMAO.
Seventh year Lucius
Sexy. As. Hell.
