Well, I usually don't rec stories by the same author twice because I just pick the writer's best thing to rec and figure you can find everything else on your own, but Sheera has been doing so much more awesome work lately that she's given me no choice. ;)
The first of hers I'm recommending is a one-shot describing Jack at a moment in time that I don't think I've ever known anyone else to write about before. It has a very appropriately angry and determined tone. The second is not a story, but a series of 50 sentences written for a table of prompts. That sounds like not much work at all to commend, not to mention maybe not very interesting to read, but she clearly put a lot of thought into every single word and...well, shit, they're just awesome. My mouth actually dropped open reading some of them.

Date: 2006-11-07 03:27 am (UTC)I thought about staking another claim for sentences but, dang... it was harder than it looked. So I can't tell you how happy I am that they actually made sense in the end.
*clears throat* And when are we going to be able to wheedle you into writing us a little more fic, hmmm? ^_^ Not that your lovely four aren't already going on my rec list (err, assuming I ever publish it) but a drabble or two certainly couldn't go amiss, could they? ;)

Oh God, I probably shouldn't tell you this since I don't know if I'll ever go through with finishing it, but I have written the tiny seeds of a new drabble (it's in the very primal stage, meaning I have no idea where it's going yet). It's probably partially your fault for coming out of BBM fic retirement and making me feel lame for not doing the same yet, LOL.
