Lupin and Sirius by bri-cheese
The Lupin one reminds me of something right off of an album cover from the 60's for some reason. Honestly, I really like the Sirius picture because his face looks kind of like Jim Morrison, and in my fanfic Requiems Sirius's favorite Muggle band is the Doors and I kind of unconsciously made his character kind of like Jim Morrison. And the artist gave him a cigarette, and smoking is bad and all but the image of Sirius smoking has always just made sense to me.

A very emotional-looking (and almost slashy) piece with Harry taking Snape's Death Eater mask off and them pointing their wands at eachother. I really think someone should do a fanfic based on this image.

Snape and Lily by kellyl
Even though Lily didn't end up being the Half-Blood Prince, I think there's some significance to the fact that Slughorn kept comparing Harry to her because of his performance in Potions when it was Snape's book he was using. So a drawing of Lily and Snape in Potions class together seems appropriate to me. It's very cute. Though only as an unrequited love thing, I'm really starting to like this ship more and more every day.

Fan Fiction Recommendation: "Moonlight" (Harry Potter)

This was not written for the Lupin/Tonks challenge at the Sugar Quill which I wrote Darkness And Light for, though it is basically along the same line as that. But don't worry - I have read tons of filler-scene fics about Tonks and Lupin finally getting together and would not rec one of them unless I found it quite exceptional. I made my story about this quite innocent, really, because it just seems innapropriate for the two to agree to be together and start shagging or heavily making out on the night someone just died. But in this story it actually seems believable for them to need just a little physical action that night, and it's done with the necessary sensitivity.
