1. TELL ME STUFF TO TAKE PICTURES OF AND I WILL POST THEM TO SHOW YOU. I've seen memes like this going around a lot but never had a camera with which to participate, but now my mama has a new digital camera that I would like to play with. So you know how this works. My DVDs, my pets, whatever.

Apparently getting up and wandering away from his bed was not the only thing Watson could sometimes do in his sleep. How interesting.

Lestrade looked down at the girl standing between Holmes and Watson. She was in very plain and modest dress and looked no older than thirteen. Following his gaze down to her for a moment, Holmes said as if suddenly remembering her, "Oh, this is Miss Sarah Harker." Then he said to her as a way of introduction, "You must know of Inspector Lestrade from Dr. Watson's most favorable descriptions of him in his writing you enjoy so much, I'm sure."
While she looked up at the inspector with a shy and overwhelmed-looking smile, a slight twitch of Watson's shoulders that Holmes saw out of the corner of his eye gave away that he was trying not to laugh.
Lestrade looked more than a little confused. "Ah...And who is she supposed to be?" he asked.
"Miss Harker is my client, of course," Holmes answered naturally, making Lestrade's eyes go a little wide with alarm. "I'm afraid we have some business to take care of with a missing will of her mother's that must be forcefully taken from her family's former butler who managed to steal everything from her with a fake will after she was orphaned, and of course I have no authority on my own to do so."
Not bothering to try to completely understand for now, Lestrade shook his head. "Come again?" he said with clear bewilderment. "Are you having me on, Holmes? Since when do you even bother going through the formalities anyway? Usually when you and the doctor condescend to come to the police for anything it means something very serious is involved."
"What do you care?" Holmes said with a shrug. "It's not as if the lot of you will be busy with anything more important tonight. It's the first full moon ever since all that madness last month with the attacks from that creature - or whatever the deuce it was - and most of London won't be daring to set foot outside. "
"Yes...I know," Lestrade sighed, his expression turning a little grave at the reminder. "I was outside just now. Barely dusk yet and the city is already silent as the dead. It's enough to give you a bit of a fright even if you're not one to believe in that sort of bunk."

"So would you mind explaining to me why you've captured all of my crewmembers off the street when we haven't done anything to threaten you?" Kirk asks, already impatient and irritated.

"Infiltrated? We beamed down. When we got clearance after saying this was where we were coming, I guess I just thought your authorities could assume we'd come directly here."
"Planetary authorities. As I say, weee as different here."
"Look, we're here on a harmless mission. Federation, see?" Kirk points a finger at the symbol on his uniform, and the other just looks at him like it means nothing to him. Kirk reaches down to his empty belt for a second, reminded that all of their supplies were taken. "For Christ sake. Do you think you could give me my translator back at least? I don't speak dumbass."
Behind him, McCoy rolls his eyes, turning away like he has already given up on this getting resolved neatly at all.
"Federation?" the alien says, and then points at him. "Yooo as Romulan speee."
His frustration starting to grow beyond his capacity, he leans over closer to the alien with his hands on the table as if getting closer will help him to understand him any better. "Spee?" he says, shaking his head in complete confusion.
Spock comes close to his side for a moment and says calmly, "Spy."
Comprehension dawns on him, immediately manifest as much more intense look of annoyance than he had before. "Do I look like a goddamn Romulan to you?" he says with amazement.

Holmes's song then trailed off into silence as he noticed her standing in the doorway quite remarkably transformed by the disguise. Irene raised an eyebrow in an exaggerated mannerism that was at once very familiar for Holmes to see, standing up rigidly straight with her mouth set in a serious straight line under her attached mustache. "Holmes!" she said in a deep and slightly severe voice. "God help me, unless you do something about that ghastly odor in the study that all my patients can smell from the next room, I will have to throw you outside like a dog before you can restrain me from having this entire place cleaned however I see fit."
Holmes's lips were a little tight as if he was trying not to smile too much at her.
With a stiff and agitated movement, Watson straightened the newspaper he was reading and looked back down at the page. "I do not sound like that," he muttered. Then, glancing back up at her, he added, "And my mustache is not that large!"
Irene just laughed as she added a hat to her wig-covered head and went to get a coat.
"I still say no one is going to be fooled by this nonsense," Watson said. "It's an absurd idea, the two of you working together. Even if she's believable as a man, I'm sure she'll only do something to ruin my name irreparably."
Holmes only responded to his whining by raising his bow back to his violin and playing some extremely dramatic and miserable-sounding notes.

"God, I can't believe I'd be so horrible, but I guess at the time all I could think was how she stole him from me first, so..." Leah looked over at his glazed, distant expression. "Are you even listening to me? Don't you understand how messed up this is?"
"I don't know how to listen to something that doesn't make any freaking sense," Jacob admitted, throwing his hands up a little. "It would be impossible for Sam to do that."
"Well, obviously he's not the most aware of himself right now, otherwise it probably couldn't have happened. You said he got pissed and punched Brady the other day just over something he said about me—"
"It was a dick thing to say! I just about beat him to it."
"Oh please. Everyone we know who's that much in love—the way you're supposed to be when you've imprinted—they don't hit their friends. They just don't get worked up like that over anything, you know that. But he did that, and now this? Don't try to tell me you don't see what's going on. You know what's going on."
"I don't know what you're talking about," he said, his voice starting to carry a slight edge of panic. "Sam could not have kissed you yesterday. It's impossible. He's imprinted. He's married to Emily. He can't live without her."
"Come on, Jake, let me spell it out for you. I stopped phasing, and then I got pregnant. Everything went right back to normal like you suspected it would when you always said I was freaking out over nothing. Now you and Sam have both learned to stop making the change by now, too, and the same thing is happening to you. You're just normal humans again, with normal feelings."
"That's not what's happening," he said, low and warning.
"Sam doesn't love Emily anymore," she said, starting to speak with a more violent force the more he denies what she's saying. "He's going to come back to me. Everything's going back to the way it was before."
"My God, just listen to yourself! Are you out of your goddamn mind? To think you're still this hung up on him after all these years. That's just sad, Leah. Can't you just be happy that you're normal again like you always wanted and let it be?"

She almost runs right into him at the end of the dark, narrow hall as he comes around the corner. "There she is," he says when he see her. "Loo's this way then?"
"Yeah. Cook, listen..."
"Yeah?"
Effy hesitates a second. "You think we could just blow these people off and get out of here? I don't really like the look of this place."
He has a short laugh. "Yeah, you aren't shitting me, babe," he says. "This place is fucking catatonic."

But he kept his back to all the others as if he hadn't heard him. Then he said heavily, "Goodbye, Sophie," and went on through the door.
Peter looked down sadly at Sophie. She was blinking away some tears, clutching her sword so tightly in her hands that her knuckles were white.
Then he turned back to the others, leaving her there on the floor with her back hunched over and her head hanging. Ando exchanged a shocked and daunted look with him and muttered, "He's an even stricter dad than Kaito was."

Sam holds Lee's arm down in hopes of keeping the Centurion from shooting right away, though not sure how he thinks it will make much difference. There's not much question about whether or not this one is part of the alliance. But after it stares at them a few seconds, or seemingly looks directly at Sam, it lowers its arm.
Lee moves to shoot again but Sam says, "Wait" and gets right in front of him, blocking him and the Centurion from each other.
"Are you out of your frakking mind?" says Lee in a low, wild voice.
"Just wait a second! This happened before with the Raiders. I think...I think it knows me..."
The Centurion looks down and regards Kara's helpless form on the ground a moment, while both Sam and Lee stand frozen with terror and anticipation. Then it retracts its weapon back into its wrist, bends over, and steadily picks her up into its arms.
"Oh good lords," Lee says in a nervous, rushed murmur as it starts to carry her forward.
Completely pacified, the Cylon brings Kara right over to them and then stops in front of Sam, waiting.

That bit of "How To Listen" is still frikkin' hilarious even though I've read it before. OMG. It hurts me that it's gonna be forever before you start writing Trek again, waaaaaah. And Dude, OMG, "Aurora's Wings." Either you never told me all that much about it or it's been so long I've forgotten everything you told me, but OMG OMG.

I believe all I previously disclosed to you about that part of "Aurora's Wings" was that there was a scene in that fic I would pay a fortune to commission someone to illustrate. Just injured-and-unconscious Starbuck being carried by a Centurion all movie-poster-like, IT WOULD LOOK SO EPIC.
