- Why do you dislike #14 so much?
I liked the way the relationship is in the movie and I see the logic of it (lol) because of their similarities, but as far as reading about them in fic or something, imagining what they would be like together any regular day bores me to death. All the fic I've tried reading that attempts to make them dynamically passionate and hot together just struck me as hilariously OOC. Plus the huge amount of shippers it has now has started to give it exaggerated importance. There were like two scenes of the whole movie involving the relationship, is it possible there's something else we could be more invested in as far as what will happen in the sequel? It's gotten so nauseatingly fangirly.
- Who is someone you know that ships #9?
I'm not sure. Hey guys, who else ships George and Christopher?
- What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3?
They keep kicking ass together until Kirk is like 90 and then he doesn't die alone in some dumbass way. Yeah, that's pretty much all I could ask for. I can see these two going their whole lives without actually saying they love each other because they just know.
- What interests you about #10?
Oh Jesus. The wrong, the wrong, and the WRONG. The ways they're kind of inextricably connected is so intriguing. Maybe Claire hates him and believes in all the right things now, but the series often hints at the possibility that her immortality could easily turn her into a villain. How do you hold onto your humanity when you're almost like a god compared to most people and any attachments you have to them are doomed? I love that Sylar will always be this threatening presence in her life because of that.
Which is why if they ever actually kill the character I will be PISSED. Soon enough it will probably be a good time to give Zach up as a regular on the show, but I think he should stay a Joker-like villain who never completely goes away so there's always the possibility he'll come back.
- Which is your favourite moment for couple #1?
Their last talk before she goes out in her Viper in "Maelstrom." If not them punching each other in "Kobol's Last Gleaming" because he's so not jealous she slept with Baltar and being an ass.
- How long have you been following couple #6?
Well, for Sam/Leah there isn't really anything to follow, and there's not even a large abundance of fic about them or anything. At some point I just became interested in their story and I can't help having some conviction he still loves her in some sense because everything they had never really got any closure. Plus like many people I hate imprinting, and though Sam/Emily are a pretty tolerable and less creepy ship as far as imprinter/imprintee ones go, I guess I find tragedy more interesting than ~perfect true love~. I probably became drawn to it after realizing just how stupid imprinting is, but I know it wasn't something that really occurred to me as I was first reading the books.
- What's the story with #8? Why did you start shipping them?
Well, definitely before I knew they were related. "Homecoming" was the episode that made me start caring about Peter because his scenes with her somehow brought so much warmth and life to his character when I'd found him excruciatingly boring before. And since then I still can't unship it, LOL. But I'm writing canon Peter/Claire fic so I guess I've embraced my Petrellicest, though the fic is probably not at all what you might expect as far as how it's kind of shippy...um, n/m, can't really explain. Haha.
- You have the power to make one ship non existent. Choose from #13 or #14 :
Edward/Bella. Let's just not worry about the fact all the awesomeness of other aspects of the series wouldn't exist if it weren't for them.
- Which ship do you prefer #2 or #4?
It's close but I guess I'll say Bones/Chapel, considering I actually had a ridiculously romantic dream about them. (This same dream also involved some Mad Men characters being on the Enterprise and it was fucking awesome, but n/m...)
- What interests you about #11?
It's hard to say why I'm weirdly drawn to Carlisle/Rosalie. Canon-wise I feel like there's some untold story about how she came to accept him as a father after he turned her, which after being brutally beaten and raped the same night must have felt like a whole other kind of horrific violation because she wasn't given a choice. It's like there's some twisted psychological implication in writing about there being any attraction between them, though I can't put my finger on it. LOL. But this is definitely another one with unexplainable "Because it's so wrong" kind of appeal to me.
- Why do you like #7?
Zuko and Katara's changing relationship as it was in the show was very interesting, if only intended to be platonic, and I think there are enough subtle little nuggets of things in their scenes together that can easily accommodate the idea of a deeper relationship developing in the future. For a ship that's not canon, it's somewhat easy to see possibly having become canon if the show had gone on longer even if Aang/Katara would still be the endgame. In the episode that he helps her pursue revenge for her mother's death, you can see Zuko able to relate to her on some level that Aang can't in his miraculously preserved innocence. As far as fic goes I think there's all kinds of potential for bringing out more interesting sides of her character in her interaction with him than you see in her relationship with Aang.
Also, for some reason I like love triangles involving two guys who are actually very good friends so that there's no actual dramatic rivalry and it's more subtle.

Oh lord, too many Jacob/Bella songs. "Sour Girl" by Stone Temple Pilots. "Sunshine Superman" by Donovan. "I Will Possess Your Heart" by Death Cab. "Somersault" by Zero 7. "Martha Avenue Love Song" by the Innocence Mission.
- Have #2 kissed?
Only in that cute part of the dream I had. *sigh* LOL...
- Did #4 have a happy ending?
There is no ending. Kirk/Uhura go on in UST limbo forever, haha.
- What would make you start shipping #12?
Hmm, maybe if I just happened to find a Jacob/Leah fic that made me buy them as romantically compatible. Thing is I already kind of half-ship it only in a bickering-friends-casually-fucking-if-they-get-drunk-enough sense and I also really love their canon relationship, but I see it as pretty platonic.
- If only one could happen, which would you prefer, #2 or #6?
2 so hard. If McCoy and Chapel have an even remotely prevalent dynamic in the movies, even if it's just friendly, I will be so ridiculously ecstatic.
- You have the power to decide the fate of #5. What happens to them?
Bella starts hanging out with Jacob a lot earlier on after she moves to Forks so that she has a life besides angsting over why that Cullen guy hates her and is much too happy with herself and what she has to need some desperately and suicidally intense relationship with a hard ice chunk to complete her. Wild sex on the beach using various positions is imminent. Edward knows she has a boyfriend and sees he's fucked if he spends much more time close to her and the Cullens move before he can have a chance to either kill or dazzle her.
- Which of these ships do you love the most?
I think Kara/Lee and Jacob/Bella will always be tied as my favorites that I will never ever get over.
